Check-in
Before you drive to De Koepoort, we would like to welcome you first at our B&B 't Poorthuys (Koepoortstraat 10) to check in.
This is possible between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
At B&B 't Poorthuys you will receive the key and information about Middelburg and the apartment.
The B&B is located approximately 100 meters from De Koepoort Apartments.
Parking
Paid parking is available in the centre of Middelburg.
The parking machine at De Koepoort gives day tickets, which cost 15 euros and are valid for 24 hours.
In the area behind the Koepoort, just across the bridge, you can park for free at Fazantenhof 120 (Albert Heijn).
Middelburg also has a free parking at Oude Veerseweg 1.
From both car parks you walk to the Koepoort in approximately 10 minutes.
Rent & store a bicycle
Bicycles can be rented at B&B 't Poorthuys for 10 euros per day.
If you want to bring your own bicycle, we recommend to store it indoors.
This is possible in the living room of your Koepoort apartment or in the basement of our B&B at Koepoortstraat 10 (before 9PM).
Sauna
In the garden of B&B 't Poorthuys, a 5 minute walk from the Koepoort, we have a brand new sauna. This is the perfect place to relax and pamper yourself!
Private sauna prices:
1 hour €30,- 3 hours €55,-
1,5 hours €40,- 4 hours €65,-
2 hours €45,- 5 hours €70,-
These hours can be divided over several days. Maximum 5 persons & maximum 2 hours per day.
During your sauna visit, bathrobes, slippers and towels are provided for you.
